Turning Data into Coexistence

Wildlife is returning. So are conflicts.
BCRCF’s Conflict Reporting ensures that every incident — whether crop loss, livestock depredation, or human injury — is recorded, verified, and acted upon.

How It Works:

  1. Community Intel: Local community members or relevant authorities give updates to Ban Pahuras via call.
  2. Incident Reporting: Ban Pahura, our crisis group members visit and inspect sites, confirm details, map out details and assess immediate needs.
  3. Response: Coordination with local communities on ground mobilization, technology deployment or local and follow-up actions.
  4. Learning: Data is mapped and analyzed via heatmaps to identify and forecast potential conflicts and design preventive strategies and inform policy advocacy.

Why It Matters:

  • Prevents escalation and misinformation.
  • Ensures fair, timely compensation.
  • Builds transparency and accountability in conservation governance.
  • Turns incidents into learning opportunities for coexistence planning.

Track. Respond. Learn. Coexist.
